What is the age criterion to join a UG Programme?

The Student should be 18 years old on or before December at the year of admission.

Where is the College located? Is it easily accessible?

The Institute is in Perumbakkam, Chennai located near OMR road. Yes, it’s easily accessible.

How many years do I study the UG Programme?

It’s a 4 year programme. Students undertake a Compulsory Rotatory Internship in the final year.

May I know the College timings?

Monday – Saturday (except 2nd Saturdays): 9:15am to 4:30pm.

What is the medium of Instruction? Is the local language required for practice in the hospital?

English. Not necessarily, however it would be easier to communicate with patients if you know the local language.

Can I know the eligibility criteria for joining UG programs?

HSC/Equivalent with 70% in Biology group (PCB/PCBZ/PCBM)

How is the teaching standard of the Institute?

Is there an entrance exam?

Yes however it depends on the student’s HSC Score/NEET score.

How is the selection/admission process? How can I apply?

Is the campus secure?

We have an anti-ragging committee and take precautions to ensure the safety & well-being of the students.

How about higher studies for UG Programmes?

We offer Master of Hospital Administration; it’s a 2 year programme.

Is there a college Uniform?

Yes, each student is provided with two pairs yearly. Students are expected to wear white coats and white shoes as part of the uniform as well.

Is it compulsory for girl students studying Emergency Care to travel in Ambulances?

No, that’s based on individual preference.
