About
Global Institute library has a vast collection of subject related books, journals and magazines. Other collections include CDs, Videos and Question Banks for reference.
Working Hours
Monday – Saturday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
The Library will be closed on Sundays & Public holidays.
Students can borrow books from 2:30 till 4:30 pm on all working days.
Library Rules & Regulations
- Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the library
- Silence to be maintained and group discussion is prohibited in the library
- Textbooks, printed materials and issued books are not allowed to be taken inside the library
- Using Mobile phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises
- Enter your name and Sign in the register kept at the entrance before entering library
- Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken anywhere in the library premises
- Personal belonging should be kept in the racks provided
- Books should be handled with care. Marking, writing, tearing pages are objectionable
- Students can borrow two books at a time
- Return the book on/before the due date, a fine of Rs.2/- per day will be levied for overdue books
- Books borrowed are non-transferable. The borrower is fully responsible for the printed material issued to him/her until its returned
- Reference books, journals, magazines, project books can be referred only in the library
- Students should return borrowed books immediately on demand by Librarian/ Student Affairs
- Students should strictly adhere to the above rules and regulations. Violation will lead to disciplinary action
Membership
All students and faculty are members of Global library. Students are provided the membership during the duration of their course. Membership is prone to be annulled incase of violation of library rules & regulation.
Clinical Key
All the systems in Global College Computer lab, have access to Clinical Key, a medical search engine and database tool that offers access to the medical library providing clinical knowledge & information.
