B.Sc. PROGRAMMES

Internship

In the final year, students undergo Compulsory Rotatory Internship for a period of 12 months. Students should maintain record/log book throughout the internship. Students will be awarded with the degree only after the completion of the internship.

PA

Physician Assistants get to assist and learn from doctors directly. They train in various departments such as General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, ICU and Emergency.

OTAT

OT Technicians/students learn the operations of Sterilization Room, Post Operative Room (including Medical/Surgical Record Room), Surgical ICU, General Surgery OT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology OT, Paediatrics OT and get hands on experience during their final year

RIT

These students get posted in various units such as Radiography, Plain & Contrast Studies, DSA, Special Radiographic Procedures, Mammography, Dental Radiography, Higher Modalities, CT, MRI, DSA, Nuclear Medicine where they get skilled on the use of latest Radiographic equipments.

DT

Dialysis Students have an exposure of maintenance Haemodialysis, ICU Dialysis and Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis and learn to perform dialysis on various patients during Internship program.

CCT

CCT Students observe and cater to the needs of patients in IMCU, PACU (Post Anaesthetic Care Unit), CCU (Coronary Care Unit), RICU, Nephrology (Dialysis Unit), NICU/PICU and learn the procedures of CSSD/Sterilization and Labs.

AECT

Students get trained in Medicine (MICU/0 delay/Triage/Lab), Surgery (Operation Theatre/CSSD/Laundry/Speciality ICU), Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, Paediatric Emergency and ICU during the Internship.
